Pulau Ubin is accessible by bumboats only. The bumboats start plying as early as 6.00am till 8.00pm. The ride takes about 10minutes from Changi Point Ferry Terminal, near Changi Village. It costs S$2.50 per pax. There are no fixed departures to and from Ubin, as the bumboats set off only when there are a total of 12 passengers.
Visitors can choose to hire bicycles to get around the island. Bicycles are available for hire at the village near the jetty, rates varies accordingly, depending on the bicycle type.
Alternatively, one may choose to hire a van for a trip to Chek Jawa. Do take note to negotiate rates in advance with the driver.
For the more adventurous, Chek Jawa is accessible by foot in approximately 45 minutes from the Main Village.
